It is time to wear your crown and your pretty dress, and grace this world with another year of your sweet and bubbly laughter. Happy fifth birthday, Princess.

When you were born my heart skipped a beat, there is something about your sister having a baby girl.  You were perfect in my eyes even with your health concerns, you are still perfect and you always will be perfect. 

You have completed school for your first year and you have loved getting to know your teacher and your class mates. You have done so well, you do not want to miss school even if you were sick, you wanted to go. 

I love when we talk on facetime and how you always want Auntie to show you different things like my pool or Brooke's giraffe's, you are a funny boo and I love you so much.

Tips for planning a wedding.

I am in the middle of a wedding ( not mine) but I am Matron of Honour for my best friends wedding in 28 days, I forgot how much work there is to do... 

I will never ever forget planning my wedding, the night he proposed we had a date, I always wanted a  Sept wedding but when he proposed in Jan, I thought May would be a nice month, so it was May. I figured out my bridal party, colors etc all that night. 

Planning a wedding is much more fun then some people say, it can also be stressful, here are some tips to help you

It's ok that I am ready for hockey to be done, I always get frustrated this time of year because my team is usually out and I have no idea who to be cheering for. 

I am glad my baby girl is back home, I miss her when she is away. The time alone with hubby is always nice but I am glad when she is back 

that I am sitting here in a spotlessly clean house and so proud of myself

Pet peeve!!

Thankful for this blog. 
Some days I have thoughts that I would like to share and get advice etc but the minute I share things on Facebook- someone is calling me and asking me what is wrong.. etc.. 

There don't always have to be some thing "wrong". I am female after all and we have thoughts and feelings and there do not have to be a reason with it. 

Like yesterday I was feeling so down because my daddy got bad news from the Dr, so I posted this on Facebook " Home feels so far away today, especially when the news is upsetting" immediately my phone lit up like a Christmas tree on Christmas eve because the nosy people just had to know... drives me crazy.  If I wanted to share why I felt down I would have posted what was wrong.. then they call my parents and tell them I am sad and feeling down and this in turn gets them down.. so from now on, my thoughts and feelings will only be shared on here. 

The other thing that bugs me is when people wear mismatched socks, I know it is the new trend but it annoys me, like why?? What is so fashionable about wearing mis matched socks

To me it is not a waste of time to match up socks when I do laundry, my daughter will try to wear them as mismatched as well and I refuse to let her do it. 

Does this bug anyone else?
