Confessional Friday

Linking up with Leslie

Today I am Confessing:

1) I am so ready to go back to work on Monday, I begin my new job in the accounting dept and I cannot wait to have a challenge each day, to dress up and go to work again.

2) I am a little peeved still about my surgery being cancelled , but i guess it was for the best, but I am tired of the pain, living in chronic pain is hard to do..

3) I need to get myself back on a better  sleep schedule now that i am going back to work, i have not been doing well with sleeping...

4) I am really missing my sister, May cannot come quick enough, I need to hug her so bad.

5) I cannot wait til next Saturday when hubby is back and his travelling is going to be over for a while- I miss him so much when he is gone, I feel like a part of me is missing, which makes sense because he has my heart

Truthful Thursdays: Super Power

If your new here, go over here and see what this is all about

3) If you could have one Super Power, what would it be:
I would remove cancer from this world, there would be no more people with any deadly disease, it has taken to many of my family members and I am tired of it.

I would also have money trees: Every person would have a thick forest of money trees in their yard, the trees would never run out, they would always be filled and have anything you want.

I would also give everyone their dream job
I would make everyone 100% happy, but then I ask myself, would it really have happy people..

Hard to say.

Wednesdays 4 Women Guest Post- Emily Crider

{To Inspire and Encourage}

Today I introduce to you my beautiful blogging friend Emily- it is a delight to have her here on my blog today

Well hello there! We're Hudson and Emily...no one too special, really. Hudson doesn't bench 400 and I don't vacuum in heels. But we do like to have fun. You might recognize me (Emily) from my previous blog, Newlywed Moments. Well, just last week I moved on to launch a new blog with my hubby, called HudsonAndEmily.com. Come on over and introduce yourself!

Special thanks to Terri for letting me share on the blog today - I just love her posts, so it's an honor to be here. When she asked what I wanted to share about, I knew right away...dating and marriage. You see, Hudson and I are best friends. But over the years I've learned that life gets busy, and especially when you're married, it's not always easy to make time for each other like it should be. So we've compiled an entire list of dates for every season of the year: spring dates, summer dates, fall dates, and winter dates.

Today I want to share about one of my favorite dates, because it's relatively inexpensive and easy to plan, but a lot of fun: coffee shop hopping! Basically, Hudson Googled "coffee shops," "cafes," and "bagel shops" in our area. He then plugged all the addresses into Google maps, printed out the list, and we headed on our way! Whether you're new to your town or you've lived there your entire life, I'm sure there are a few places you haven't tried yet. This date was not only fun to experience new places in our town, but also to go on an adventure...we had some great conversations and got to be silly, too :) If you try this, I definitely recommend ordering something different at each place! I'm a I'll-stick-with-what-I-like type person, but this was the perfect chance to try different drinks. Neither of us actually like coffee (crazy, I know!) so we went with a strawberry frappuccino, hot chocolate, cookies & cream smoothie, and raspberry iced tea! To keep the cost down, you can order just one drink at each place and share! There were seven shops on our list but three were closed on Saturday afternoons (who does that?!) so we ended up going to four places...and only spent $12! Talk about a great date for a cheap price!! What are some of YOUR favorite dates?

Surgery Update

I arrived at the hospital just before 8am, went thru the pre admission, got my blood work, urine etc all done...

Then a Code Yellow came in and it put everything on hold for 2 hours, so I sat and read for 2 hours, then they called me into admission to do weight blood pressure etc... then told me to change into the surgery garb and to put on my fancy blue slippers

Then it all came crashing down...

They were about to wheel me to the OR
The anesthesiologist came in and asked if I had a head cold...
Off course I had to say
YES..

he then said well we cant put you under with a head cold because it isnt safe at all, it could result in an infection and could be quite serious..
I was so heart broken... I have waited for 2 years
My doctor came in and apologized over and over, she knows what it is like for me..

I asked how long do I have to wait?
6
WEEKS
This made it worst I think, i was so discouraged, so heart broken, I am tired of living in pain all the time but it is better to be healthy going in there then who knows what could have happened.

So in 6 weeks we will try again, i hope it is done and over before Vacation on May 18..
:)

You know your addicted to blogging when

While im getting my surgery done, thought I would leave ya with this truth!!

Came across this from over here

1. You've had dreams about other bloggers.

2. If you see it on a blog, you buy it. Clothes, jewelry, vajajay deodorant, etc. It doesn’t matter what it is but if another blogger has it, you need it.

3. You plan your day around when you can fit in a post.

4. You break out into a cold sweat when you realize the pictures your husband just took of you while you stood outside in negative twenty degree temps turned out blurry, cut off, and of absolutely no good use.

5. You sometimes catch yourself doing things just so you can blog about it.

6. Time is no longer measured in minutes, hours, days, and weeks, but rather by blog posts and blog posts only.

7. You get anxiety if you see you have an error in your post but aren't around a computer or phone to fix it yet.

8. You occasionally use your dog as a prop to pose with you during awkward public photo shoots.

9. You check your stats more than twenty times a day.

10. You stop responding to your name but rather only when somebody calls you by your blog title.

11. You respond to reader comments before you respond to family emails.

12. Your meals are a result of what you just saw on Instagram.

13. You spend hours on creating what you believe will be the one pin that will go viral, only to result in three repins.

14. You sleep with a notebook next to your head, just in case.

15. You read blogs right before you go to bed... And again when you wake up.

16. You suddenly want a new cool camera even though you know you'll probably never really figure out how to use it exactly right.

17. You sometimes think you know bloggers you've never met more than you know people in real life.

18. You trade out your WWJD bracelets for OOTD and WIWW.

19. You spend hours in front of the mirror because you will master that perfect messy bun look if it kills you.

20. You spend ridiculous amounts of money on a planner because Heaven forbid you forget to write down that you need to post a picture to Instagram at 2:34 pm on Wednesday afternoon.

The Eve of My Surgery

In less then 12 hours I will be in the OR- asleep, all tubes will be in, the surgeon will be there and I will not know anything until i wake up- i just hope the tube is out of my throat before I wake up, the last time it wasn't... ewe

I am a basket of nerves to be honest,.
I am hoping for some answers
this has gone on long enough, I need
this to be done with
As I filled up my medication holder tonight, I thought I hope this is the last time taking 12 pills per day and upwards of $700 a month in medication ( Thankful for Insurance)

I appreciate all prayers that you can give, I have gotten so many fb msgs, phone calls, instagram messages, texts etc tonight, I feel Loved.
We are hoping something is found and we can move forward... having constant pain for the last 9 months isn't how I want to spend the next 9 months of my life.

Thank you for your well wishes and prayers, I will update as soon as I can.
