Big News

I seldom blog on a friday night but i have so much that i want to get out and into this story of our lives so i better write it all out.

This week went by so quick, i have enjoyed my job so much, i just want a job like i am now, but i want it to be full time. They are so helpful and so nice, no one there is rude or mean... i would dream of a job like that, it is so refreshing to me to wake up in the morning and go to a job that i really enjoy.

So i have some big news:
it is big for me
Growing up i had a horrible fear of driving in a vehicle and always thought my daddy would fall asleep and cause us to get into a wreck, never ever happened.  when i was 17, i was headed to a church service with some other pastors and their wife and kids when we hit some ice and spun around many times, then went in the ditch, we were all shook up but no major injuries, that off course made my fear much worst.
I dont do well in a vehicle anymore, i make my husband crazy if we take a long trip or even a short trip, im scared he is gonna fall asleep.. has it happened ..Nope
This fear has kept me from getting my drivers license, i have permit and have driven car once, no desire to do it.
I made up my mind today that i am facing this fear and i am going to learn to drive, it cant be that hard..

So there ya have it, i will be a licensed driver soon, stay off the roads...

  2. I am now following you from WSM blog hop. I think it is so exciting that you are facing a fear and going to get your driver's license! I think you will be so happy you did. All of my friends got their's at 16. I didn't do it until I was 20, and I absolutely had to have them. It was so liberating. Now I have driven all over the country.

  4. I'm so proud of you! I had to give my fear of flying over to the Lord. I had to ask myself, do I believe that God is sovereignly in control over everything, or do I not? If anything goes wrong with the plane, is there really anything I can do about it? Nope. God already knows when it is my time to go, and I'm ready to go whenever He calls me home :) Kelly@ thelittlepinkduck.com
