Weekend Recap

Friday: Day off and a super long weekend, I don't go back to work until Tuesday

Brooke left around noon for a Youth Convention, one of the mom's text me this picture tonight
This is her with one of her best friends. When did they grow up and how do I have a nearly 12 year old <GASP>.  I do not know what I will do with myself until she returns on Monday
....
I went for a long walk 30 mins each way, just had a weird day and a walk always helps me , so I did a walk and I felt better when i got back, I always did 3 loads of laundry on the clothes line, there isn't much more that makes as happy as that, that is until I saw 2 bugs attached to the laundry.
Hubby got home we had a date night and went for wings and nachos, came home watched a movie.

Saturday
I made brunch, did some laundry, we did yard work, organized the garage, went to town to run some errands, then my bestie came over for a bbq, we ate lots, chatted, hubby took us in town for a ice cream, i had this
Momma Mia Gelato, so very delicious!!

We came back here, she did some things on my computer that she needed hubby to help her out with.
I could not sleep after she left, I was wake til after 4 am, not sure if I had to much sugar.

Sunday:
Sun Am service, I helped in the middle school class for sunday school as the normal teacher is away at YC with my Brookie.
We came home had left overs and I went to bed I slept til 5 pm, I wonder if I will sleep tonight, I sure hope so. Im off to read and have a quiet rest of the weekend with hubby.
Tomorrow is another holiday here and Brooke is home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Happy Mommy tomorrow

  3. I love curling up with a good book! These days it's more Curious George and Dr Suess than any authors I like, but I'm hoping it rubs off on the kids! What are you reading?
