Online Counselling
I don't know about you but nowadays I do everything I possibly can online.. I do shopping ( hello, amazon prime), book hotels, grocery shopping, banking, etc... well what about online counseling. What about getting help for mental illness while you are sitting at home in your pj's, or while laying in your bed because when I am having a rough day, I do not want to leave my bed.
The world of counseling is diverse and offers many types of therapy. Each person who enters treatment has different mental health issues and thus different emotional needs. All human beings have struggles and life challenges. Depending on what an individual is dealing with or which mental illness the person has, can determine what sort of therapy will work best for them.
When I first got sick with depression and anxiety, I dreaded having to leave my house and go out anywhere especially to a doctor and have to tell my story all over and over. Almost every day I had wished there was a way to reach out to my dr digitally, I only had a phone, I could not even email and the receptionist would never let me talk to them and sometimes I had to wait weeks to get in to see them.

Some people are looking to talk to someone, so they feel emotionally validated. Perhaps they need advice on how to handle their life problems. Other people need therapy to confront mental illness and develop healthy coping mechanisms. The good news is as a client; you have many options as to what kind of therapy you choose, whether it’s Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Psychoanalysis, exposure therapy, or DBT there are many ways to get well
Just as with anyone on the internet who will take your money for goods or services, there are a few red flags to know of when looking. A poorly written or designed website may or may not be legitimate, but it only costs a mouse click to avoid this risk, there are websites that will help you to determine if it is a scam or real. To be honest, Telehealth is absolutely 100% real, so they are the ones you need to reach out to, It actually feels like you are texting a friend who is listening and offering advice and help to you, I am so glad I found Telehealth, it will change your life as well.
