I work in the accounting dept for the federal government, we have 3 different departments in the accounting dept...
1. Monitoring 2. Accounts payable/receivables 3. Procurement.
I am in the monitoring dept, so my team and I "monitor" and check all invoices requesting payment, we have to verify all receipts match ( it's difficult to get these people to submit all receipts), i then scan all invoices into our main system and it is matched thru a bar code, I love it! I was in 2 before vacation, but then i moved to monitoring and i love it so much. I'd be happy to try and explain more what I do if you like.
10:30: take 5-7 minutes for my snack which usually is a green apple and 10 almonds
10:40: back to desk, check emails, phone messages
11:00: back to scanning/monitoring
12:00: Lunch - I go to 2nd floor t eat lunch with female co workers

2:45: final break, could be fruit, yogurt etc.

{check emails if any came in. }
Leave work at 4:30, go get Brooke at daycare-
5:00- home if we have no errands to run
5:30 after opening mail, I start making dinner, I also menu plan so I know what I am making etc.

ReplyDeleteI need to take a cue from you on the tidying! It seems like you work it all in so effortlessly...Also glad to hear I'm not the only one that loves a mid day coffee break! :)
ReplyDeleteI love that your day is so planned and thought out before hand. Me, the only thing I know for certain is when work starts and ends. LOL Everything else just happens when I see fit. I need to have a timetable that will help keep me on track.
