Weekend Recap

My last day of my current contract.it was bitter sweet, but i was hopeful that it was going to get extended. But it didn't...
they took me to lunch, got me cake, presents and i felt loved and appreciated.

Friday pm- i had to go to Costco to pick up food to feed 60+ people on Saturday, got all that done.
8:30 a friend that i haven't seen in 16 years was in town and came to visit, it  was so amazing to see her, chat with her, meet her husband and talk about the past and all the laughs we had...
it was past midnight when they left but the visit was so refreshing and i didn't get one picture:( but i stole this one from her facebook
her kids are so gorgeous; she is such an awesome momma <3

Saturday- it was a really start because i had to be at church by 9 am because our church was hosting the quizzing tournament, i am so proud of my girl, she did her best work yet, came in 4th place over all- and her team came in 2nd place.

We got home shortly after 3 and i crashed, i slept until after 6 pm and i had company coming for 6:30, talk about rush, it was just my sister and her family so it was ok that we didn't eat until 7:45, i made lasagna, garlic bread and taco salad, after we ate we played Sequence and watched hockey as well, Bruins lost, i was so disappointed...

We had sunday school- the kids are loving the new look and the puppet shows that happen.
I went and got some groceries after PM service, and went to bed and crashed, even though i had a long nap, i was shocked i slept last night.

So far today ( Monday) i have slept late, cleaned, made cinnamon buns and taking Brooke to a movie tonight.

Cheers <3

  1. Movie Monday sounds good. What movie? Sounds like you had a fun filled weekend. Glad you did.

p.s. If you know of any blog hops going on during the week or so let me know. I'm trying to hit as many as I can. I want to get up to at least 200 plus followers. or more. :D

  2. Sounds like you had a great but fun weekend. :)

  3. I feel your pain on a team loss...Michigan made it to the finals of the NCAA and we were all hopeful around here, but alas it wasn't meant to be. ;)

I'm glad you had a warm send off at work, those are always so nice, and sorry to hear there wasn't money for an extension.

Thanks for the blogging Love
