When you become a parent, your number one priority is always the safety of your child, which is why when it comes to any area of your home, you naturally want to make sure that you take safety seriously. Add child-safe plants

A beautiful green garden packed full of shrubs and plants is wonderful, but it can also be a health hazard. Unfortunately, there are lots of plant and shrub species that can be poisonous if eaten or even touched, so it’s important to ensure that you don’t have any of those species of plant or shrub in your garden. After all, little ones are known for touching things that they shouldn’t, so it’s best to air on the side of caution and make sure that your garden is free from any potentially toxic greenery.

Ensure the space is secure

It is also vital to make sure that your garden is secure; the last thing that you want is your little one managing to escape from your garden. When your child is outside, you want to know that they are playing in a secure space, and not worry about them accidentally leaving the garden or someone being able to break into it. That’s where having secure fencing comes into your garden’s design, such as a Sierra Fence design, for instance. If you want to create a space that’s safe for your child to play in, it’s important that it’s secure.

Be mindful about water features

If there’s one risk that you need to be extra careful of when it comes to creating a family garden, it’s water features. Incorporating water into your garden can be a great way to make your outdoor space more relaxing, but it’s also important to be mindful of the fact that water can be dangerous for young children. It’s always best to opt for a running water feature that doesn’t incorporate any pooling water, as this shouldn’t pose a drowning risk. If you choose to incorporate a body of water into your garden, such as a pond, it’s vital that you ensure it’s properly fenced off and is secured so that your little ones can’t accidentally fall in.

Believe it or not, creating a family-friendly garden is far easier than you might think, it’s just a case of finding simple ways to combine style and safety.

Do you want to add some luxury touches to your home? You can add a little luxury without it costing the earth with a little know-how. The home DIY sales in the United States is around 244 billion. That is a huge amount of money. Within that, there are some luxury items that you can choose that will add that touch of luxury you are after.

You don’t have to do it all at once; you can choose to start small and gradually increase what you want to do over time and when you have the budget. You may well have already started with making big improvements, but again take it one step at a time and read on to see how you can add a touch of luxury to your home.

New Bathroom

There is nothing that says luxury than a new bathroom suite. You can achieve an opulent bathroom space by investing money and thought into the fixtures - for example, you'll want to choose the perfect mirror, and you can check out this post to see a comparison of flat versus beveled frameless mirrors to help you make your final decision - and adding in other touches such as modern tiles, new flooring, and recessed lighting. Opting for a contemporary bathroom will give you a real sense of luxury.

When it comes to completing your luxurious bathroom transformation, the right flooring plays a crucial role in tying the whole look together.  High-quality flooring not only elevates the aesthetic appeal but also enhances the functionality of your space, offering durability and moisture resistance.  For a range of premium flooring options that combine both style and practicality, consider exploring from sites such as grosvenor-flooring.com.  Whether you're looking for sleek, modern tiles or something softer underfoot, choosing the right flooring can make all the difference in achieving the opulent bathroom of your dreams.

Neutral Tones

If you want a calming and elegant feel, then opt for cream, neutral tones. It gives you a sense of calm as well as a feeling of being spacious and luxurious. It doesn’t cost a lot to purchase paint and spruce up rooms. Yet, it can make all the difference.

Wallpaper

Adding wallpaper will instantly make a room feel warmer, but adding a good quality wallpaper will elevate your room. Wallpaper can be luxurious and is perfect if you want to update your room quickly. It is also great if you just want to make a statement to one wall while the others are painted. Feature walls bring a room to life, and it can be easily changed if you no longer like it!

Luxurious Sofa

Why not go for an ultra-luxurious sofa by choosing one that has a fabric you wouldn’t usually go for such as velvet. If that’s too expensive, then opt for velvet cushion covers and throws.

You could even attempt to sew them yourself.

Lighting

If you are on a budget, another easy way to add luxury to your home is to update your lights. Why not opt for this Murano Chandelier, which will most certainly add that wow factor to your home. You could also choose some lamps to add to dark corners in a room. Lighting can add a beautiful ambience and make any room feel cozy.

Declutter

If you want your home to feel more luxurious, then create space by decluttering. Also, choose new storage solutions that help you rearrange and organize your living space. Decluttering helps you open up the space you already have and is especially useful if you don’t have the budget for a roof conversation or extension. This is a cost-saving idea that you can do when you have time on your hands.

These are just a few ideas to help you add a touch of luxury to your home. They will create a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere without costing the earth.

Before the wrath

I grew up in church all my lif but yet this movie brought me to a new understanding

This movie is rated #1 for Christian movie in America

As much as I study the Bible, I am amazed at what little I do know and how this movie has opened up a whole new realm of understanding. I feel like I need to watch it several more times just to be sure I didn't miss anything in it's teaching. You will not be disappointed...if you believe, your faith will grow stronger. If you don't believe, this might do it! Praise God for people like Brent Miller Jr., and Ingenuity Films for bringing this truth to life!

I could keep re-watching this and learn more each time about how Gods perfect love is revealed for all of his children and how we must prepare ourselves for Jesus' return. The movie is so profound, showing the new discoveries that the Jewish Galilean customs at the time of Christ is an exact model of why Christ left to prepare a place for us in Heaven and will return for us.

I would give it a 5 STAR rating.  THIS IS—A MUST SEE DOCUMENTARY!

This would make a great stocking stuffer for anyone in your life.. you can buy it here

Big Home Improvements Worth Investing In'

Investing in home improvements can increase the value of your home but also, and perhaps more importantly, make your life better. By making improvements to your home, you can give yourself more living space, make your environment more comfortable and enjoyable, and protect the future of your home too. Home improvements can be big or small, but carrying out large improvements can be nerve-wracking. They're expensive and time-consuming, which might make you reluctant to invest in them. However, even big home improvements are worth the time and expense if you choose the right ones. Here are some top home improvements that are good to invest in.

New Bathroom or Kitchen

If you want to renovate just one room in your home, choosing a bathroom or the kitchen can often make sense. It requires more work and expense than redecorating in other rooms, but you can also get more dramatic results. It could make the biggest difference in your life and enjoyment of your home. Plus, if you're planning on selling in the future, it could increase the value of your home. A new bathroom or kitchen could be more affordable than you think, and it doesn't just make your home look better, but also gives you more practical spaces to use.

Renewable Energy

If you are looking for a home improvement that is worth investing in then there is no better option than a renewable energy source to power your home. Not only will your house become environmentally friendly, it will also save you a fortune on energy bills. Solar panels are usually the most popular option for residential renewable energy. Speak to your local solar installation company to discuss fees and other important information.

Although solar is the first thing people think of when they hear sustainability, it isn't the only option. Lots more companies are investing in sustainable fuel sources to help the environment, like Albert Culver Co who use fuel made from renewable resources, like soybean oil.

A New Roof

Your home's roof protects it, ensuring it can survive different weather conditions and keeping you warm and dry. Eventually, a roof needs to be replaced if you want to continue to protect your home. An old roof may end up needing many costly repairs and can leave your home looking rundown too. Expert roofing contractors can help you with the replacement of your roof, from advising on materials to carrying out all of the work. A new roof could improve insulation, prevent problems like leaks, and boost the aesthetics of your home too.

Converting a Loft/Attic or Basement

An attic or basement space will often end up being used as storage. However, if you don't use these spaces or you think they could be more useful, converting them is a smart idea. It gives you the opportunity to increase your living space, whether you choose to add an extra bedroom, a hobby room or get creative and set up a bar, an extra dining space, a home cinema, or anything else that you can think of. Depending on how finished your attic or basement already is, you might have to do a fair amount of work to prepare it, but it could give you a large, open space.

Additions and Extensions

Another way to add living space to your home is to build an addition or extend an existing room. Knocking out an exterior wall to create a bigger kitchen or adding extra rooms to your home might take a long time, but it can greatly improve your home. Whether you want to add value or just have more space to enjoy, you could build another bedroom, add a bathroom or do anything else to improve your home.

Invest in improving your home, and you can create a home that you'll love for many years to come.
