Just One More follows Jess, a recovering addict battling shame, self-doubt, and the crushing weight of her past. Convinced she is beyond redemption, Jess struggles to believe her life could ever hold purpose again. But everything begins to change when her path unexpectedly crosses with Charles, a dying man whose final prayer to God is simple yet powerful: “Use me just one more time.”
As their lives intertwine, Jess slowly begins to discover what grace truly looks like. Through unexpected friendship, compassion, and moments of painful honesty, she starts to see that healing is possible, forgiveness is real, and her story does not have to end in addiction or despair.
At its core, Just One More is a deeply emotional, character-driven story about redemption, perseverance, second chances, and the extraordinary impact one person can have on another life. It is about choosing hope one more time, even when life feels unbearable. It is about finding light in the darkest places and learning that broken people are never too far gone for love, grace, and restoration.
This is the kind of film that lingers long after the credits roll the kind that makes audiences reflect on their own lives, relationships, and the people who helped carry them through difficult seasons.
About sixteen years ago, I personally reached a place where I was ready to give up on everything my marriage, my faith, and even my relationship with Jesus. I was overwhelmed with anger, bitterness, and pain after being deeply hurt by someone I should have been able to trust completely. For years, I buried that hurt and never told a single person what had happened.
Then in 2022, during the isolation of Covid, I was taking an online course that unexpectedly brought those painful memories back to the surface. For the first time, I finally opened up to my husband and shared what I had carried silently for so long. He was shocked, heartbroken, and deeply affected that I had endured something so painful alone.
Thankfully, my story did not end there. I was given a second chance. I found healing, restoration, and the strength to keep going when I once believed giving up would be easier. That is why stories like #JustOneMoreMovieMIN matter so deeply to me because they remind us that even in our darkest moments, hope still has the power to change everything.
