Self Worth- Wednesdays for Women

Self Worth

Wikipedia: Self-esteem is a term used in sociology and psychology to reflect a person's overall emotional evaluation of his or her own worth. It is a judgment of oneself as well as an attitude toward the self.

When you feel down and you begin to get down further and further, you need to find a way to lift your self up, find something that would make you happy, for me it is a hair appointment or a nail appointment, it leaves me feeling happy and and good about myself.

As a younger girl I had no self worth, I had no feelings of good about myself, I felt like everyone was out to get me and they were always talking about me.

but in truth they were not, they were my friends, they were not out to get me, it was lies from the enemy, the enemy comes in and tries to bombard us with these thoughts, we need to let him know that he has no part in our lives and we need to kick him hard.

We need to like ourselves, we need to let our friends be our friends, they are our friends because they like us not because they are out to her us, if that was the case they would not be there for you when you needed them.
You also can turn to Jesus because he is closer then any friend or family member, he loves us no matter what we look like, our skin colour, our language spoken etc, he loves us all the same.

We do not need to worry about the pre approval of others, we are special just the way we are.
