Truthful Thursday- If you could go back in time and do something different, what would you do

If you are new here, jump over here and read what Truthful Thursdays are about:

6) If you could go back in time and do something different, what would you do?

So many things I would change, but the biggest would be when I moved to a new city 8 hours away from my family for the first time ever being alone and with a room mate, I got very very home sick and I would have fought it, but I didn't, i dropped out of college and moved home( I finished later in life)
When your parents tell you to stay in school, STAY in SCHOOL..
I would love to go back to school now and do nursing but I am not wanting another student loan, mine is all paid off, and I don't want that debt again , but who knows what the future holds.

It would be incredible to be a professional student and get paid full time for going to school and that would be  my job, haha.
I could never be a teacher, I cannot imagine dealing with kids every day like that, there is a reason that I have one kid, haha...
I look up to teachers , they are incredible, I know an awesome teacher, you can visit her right here

What would you do?

  1. If I could go back and time and do something different, I think I would go back and tell the people in my life then that did so much for me how much I really appreciated them. I hope they know. But I'd love to reaffirm that. Congrats on paying off your student loan though! I have 8 months left still on mine! I'm excited to pay that off completely!

  4. Being a former teacher I would give the same advice to anyone; yes to staying in school! If I could go back I would live in a dorm on campus instead of off campus. I think I missed a great experience.

  5. Hmm I would love to have been a nurse, I wanted to be one when I was young but my life went in another direction, it would have been nice to have followed my dreams.

  6. I would have played softball in school and kept up with my other sports.

  7. I have two big differences I'd make, but they're water under the bridge now, and have probably led to wonderful things in ways I didn't even know they contributed. And so be it...

And I know that teacher you're talking about. I'm headed over to say hello. ;)

  8. oh I would do so many things differently. I made bad decisions my senior year of high school but I think that if I didn't' make them I wouldn't be where I am now! Married to my husband with 5 kids so those decisions wound up turning out good in some ways!

  9. To be honest, I wouldn't change a thing! I've gone through some hard times in the past but I believe I went through them to get where I am today...every experience is a learning/growing one. I'm 100% content with my past decisions and remind myself every day to make decisions (in the present) that I know I will not regret in the future ;-)
