a little secret

so i try to be honest and open on here about all aspects of my life but some things you just need to keep a secret for a while...

withe that being said...

3 weeks ago I got some super exciting news

I GOT A NEW JOB { this is truly my dream job}

and I did not apply for it

they found me on Linkedin ( which i only updated a couple of days before, thanks to my phone conversation with my most beautiful friend Melissa .

They called me to come in for an interview and I was very weary about it because it was just two days a week to start..

So I went for the interview, it was a good interview but I wash;t feeling hopeful and wasn't sure I would take it if I was offered...
they emailed the next morning for references, sent them and then that afternoon she called to make me an offer and to be honest I was so troubled because I was working full time, then to go part time as hard to do...

I prayed about it, and was wanting a direct answer... I got my answer on Facebook of all places, a girl who knows nothing about the situation sent me something that gave me my answer...

I accepted the job, gave my old job my resignation and I was at peace and ready for new and better...

I am an admin assistant for a small but growing company, they want to make me the office manager because the office manager there now is retiring and they are putting me in her position.

It was supposed to be 2 days a week but I have been there full time and they told me today they are very impressed with me and how well I am doing.

I am so happy, so very happy.

  4. I am so excited for you Terri! Its a new start, a new begginning and sounds like your dream job! I once had an office manager position and I loved until I had kids, then it was too demanding. It paid the most out of all my jobs too. I think this is a total blessing you'll look back on and see God placed you there for a reason!
